1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NameMyFile ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NameMyFile provides AI-powered file renaming tools that analyse file content to suggest clean, descriptive file names. To do this, files you upload are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. We do not store the contents of your files on our servers; we may store the original filename, suggested filename, and file type in our database so you can see your history. The Service includes a free tier and paid subscription plans.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Upload malicious files or content designed to disrupt the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by NameMyFile and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your files remain entirely your property.

6. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied. Prices are listed in INR and may change with 30 days notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

NameMyFile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
